Luke Littler jokingly mentioned that he might consider participating in the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial £50 million offer was on the table, despite being put off by watching the show this year.
The 18-year-old darts star has been closely following this season of the show to support his friend, Angry Ginge. Speculation arose about Littler joining the show following Angry Ginge’s appearance. Littler indicated that he would contemplate it if the financial incentive was right.
Littler stated earlier in the month that he might go for a couple of weeks if the offer was appealing. However, he has now elaborated on the specific amount that would sway his decision but seems less enthusiastic about joining the jungle adventure with Ant and Dec.
In a recent talkSPORT interview, Littler admitted that despite considering going in for the right sum initially, he now finds the challenges too daunting to participate. When asked if he would reconsider for £10 million, he declined. However, when the interviewer proposed £50 million, Littler responded with a hesitant “maybe.”
Expressing his aversion to the jungle environment, Littler mentioned his discomfort with snakes and similar challenges, adding a playful remark about the possibility but ultimately dismissing the idea.
While Angry Ginge prepares for his next bushtucker trial, Littler gears up to defend his title at the upcoming PDC World Darts Championship at Ally Pally. Having clinched the world championship last year as the youngest champion in darts history, he returns as the current world No 1, aiming to repeat Gary Anderson’s feat of retaining the Sid Waddell trophy after a decade.
Littler’s title defense commences with a first-round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
