Locals believe these cars belong to holidaymakers using the street as a free parking spot to avoid airport fees.

Residents noted a pattern of airport users, including holidaymakers, taxi drivers, and regular drivers, utilizing the street for drop-offs, pick-ups, or leaving cars unattended during their trips. The situation has escalated to the extent that vehicles have been damaged, with some even egged and punctured.

Despite the availability of an express drop-off point at the airport for a nominal fee, many opt to park on Hale Road, causing inconvenience to residents. One resident expressed frustration over the lack of consideration for private property and highlighted the safety risks posed by unauthorized parking on the street.

Efforts to address the issue, including contacting Liverpool City Council and the airport, have been largely ineffective according to residents. Suggestions such as installing fencing have been proposed but not implemented.
