That was my usual experience until I decided to try a spa treatment in an unexpected location like Liverpool. Surprisingly, the therapists there had a unique way of helping me achieve deep relaxation, unlike anything I had experienced before.
During my visit to the Lush store in Liverpool, I discovered that they had a hidden gem on the top floor – their own spa offering incredible treatments. Opting for a facial treatment called ‘Rewilding,’ I was amazed by the level of relaxation and rejuvenation it provided.
This sculpting facial massage, lasting 50 minutes, included a personalized consultation to address any concerns and guide me through each step of the treatment. Utilizing hot and cold therapy, facial massage techniques, and lymphatic movements, the treatment aimed to sculpt and revitalize the skin while immersing me in a calming soundtrack of nature folk songs.
Designed by Lush’s spa development team, the facial focused on delivering visible results without causing skin issues. Despite having sensitive skin, I was thrilled with the outcome – a radiant glow that lasted for days.
The treatment commenced with a gentle cleanse using Lush’s signature cleanser, followed by a foaming cleanse with Drop of Hope soap containing moisturizing rapeseed oil. Subsequently, a firming and brightening face mask was applied, while neck and head tension was eased through massage techniques.
Further steps included the application of a facial serum enriched with vitamins and antioxidants, along with sculpting movements to enhance facial contours. The session concluded with a refreshing cold therapy mask and a luxurious moisturizer for a radiant finish.
Each stage of the treatment was a delightful experience, providing a sense of relaxation that allowed me to fully unwind. The spa’s cozy setting, complete with heated blankets and soothing music, made me feel completely at ease throughout the session.
After the treatment, I was encouraged to take my time to reorient myself, followed by a bespoke drink experience in a special relaxation room. Additionally, a visit to the Lush Shampoo bar offered a personalized hair care session, leaving my hair feeling fresh and styled to perfection.
