Multiple pedestrians were injured after a vehicle reportedly collided with a group in Cardiff. South Wales Police responded to the incident on Heol Trelai in Caerau just before 12:30 am today, with three individuals believed to have been hit by the car, resulting in one person sustaining serious injuries.

A cordon has been established, and the road has been shut down in both directions between Caerau Lane and Church Road. This incident has evoked memories of a tragic event on the same road in May 2023, where a 42-year-old driver struck and killed a 15-year-old girl.
