Lewis Hamilton is working on a new television show concept and a couple of animated films through his Dawn Apollo Films production company. The seven-time world champion played a key role in bringing the F1 blockbuster film to theaters.
Known for his interest in creative endeavors beyond racing, Hamilton, aged 40, has long been involved in music production and is now making his mark in the film industry. The F1 movie he contributed to became the highest-grossing sports film in history, grossing £479 million ($629 million) worldwide, surpassing Pixar’s Cars 2.
In an interview with The Ferrari Magazine, Hamilton expressed his satisfaction with his involvement in the film, highlighting his collaboration with the director, Joe Kosinski, and his interactions with industry professionals like Brad Pitt and Hans Zimmer. Following the success of the F1 movie, Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films company remains active in the film industry, with plans for future productions already in motion.
Hamilton shared his passion for storytelling and the importance of inspirational narratives, particularly in challenging times. He mentioned working on a comedy TV show and a couple of animation movie ideas, emphasizing a focus on quality over quantity in his projects, akin to Quentin Tarantino’s approach.
