Despite being scheduled to perform at the same venue later in August, BTS members were captured in photos and videos on Brown’s social media, engaging with the singer.

Chris Brown, known for his tumultuous past, has faced legal troubles dating back to 2009 when he admitted guilt to assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. His criminal record includes various assault charges, leading to a jail term in 2014 and a recent guilty plea for an assault incident in a London nightclub. In 2015, Brown had to cancel Canadian concerts after being denied entry by border officials.
