The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season with a home game, marking the 14th time in the last 15 years they have started at home. The NBA has officially released the schedule for the 2026-27 season, revealing that the Raptors will face off against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena on October 21. Their first away game will take place just two days later against the Washington Wizards.

Among the notable matchups at home, the Raptors will have back-to-back games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on November 15 and 17. Additionally, they will host Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10 and Canadian talent Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10.

January will be the busiest month for the Raptors, with a total of 17 games scheduled, including a six-game stretch at home. Throughout the season, they are set to play 15 back-to-back games, seven of which will not require any travel. The team’s schedule currently includes 80 out of the total 82 games, with the remaining two to be arranged after the conclusion of the NBA Cup tournament’s group stage.

Despite their prominent status, the Raptors have once again been excluded from the highly anticipated Christmas Day lineup. Since their last appearance on December 25 in 2019 as defending NBA champions, the team has not been featured in any Christmas Day games.
