The assailant, disguised as a tourist in a baseball cap, approached the victim and fired shots, even continuing the attack as the victim lay on the ground.
Despite efforts by medics at Costa del Sol Hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Police have confirmed the arrest of a 38-year-old man in connection with the shooting. The killer reportedly emerged from a car before targeting the victim. Despite earlier reports that the victim survived multiple gunshot wounds, he tragically passed away at 8:15 pm local time.
