A man, identified as Jesus Lato Garzon, tragically lost his life in a hot air balloon accident in West Sussex. The incident occurred during a flight from Billingshurst to Dunsfold, Surrey. Garzon, a former employee at The Grove in Hertfordshire, had recently left his job, citing the need to reassess his life.

Despite his fear of heights, Garzon had chosen to experience the hot air balloon ride along with 16 other passengers and a pilot. His body was discovered in a field near Newpound Common after he fell from the balloon.
