A woman feared for her life when she was attacked by her friend’s pitbull terriers, narrowly escaping a fatal injury to her neck. Crystal Ray, 42, was at her friend’s house with her Corgi, Jasper, when the dogs suddenly turned on her pet. In a frantic attempt to save Jasper, Crystal intervened, only to be attacked by one of the pitbulls.

The incident left Crystal with severe injuries as one pitbull bit into her neck like a “butter knife” while the other dog attacked her head. She was rushed to the hospital where she required a blood transfusion and multiple stitches to treat her wounds.

Recounting the horrifying ordeal, Crystal described the moment when the dogs turned on her and Jasper. Despite managing to free Jasper from the attack, the pitbulls continued to maul her, leaving her with life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, medical intervention saved her from a potentially fatal outcome.

Following the incident, both pitbulls were euthanized by a local veterinarian. Crystal, now facing physical therapy for her neck injuries and ongoing treatment for her scars, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover her medical expenses. She expressed mixed emotions about the fate of the dogs responsible for the attack, acknowledging the severity of the situation and the potential dangers they posed.
