A toddler, aged two, has passed away in a hospital after being discovered unconscious at a nursery school. The incident occurred at Parbold Douglas Church of England Academy in Parbold, West Lancashire, around 2:45 pm on Friday. Lancashire authorities reported that despite immediate medical attention, the child did not survive. The police have clarified that the child’s death is not deemed suspicious, and condolences have been extended to the family by Lancashire Police. The tragedy follows a similar incident in January, where a two-year-old boy died at the Early Learners Day Nursery in Bootle after experiencing a medical emergency. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding both incidents. Merseyside Police have launched an inquiry into the recent incident, treating the cause of death as unexplained.
