Authorities responded to a report of a student in distress just before 9:30 am local time on September 16. CPR was immediately administered to the child, who was then rushed to CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital by the St. Cloud Police Department. Despite efforts, the boy was later transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center where he passed away.
Investigators have ruled out foul play, and are collaborating with the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation is currently ongoing to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
