Sky customers are facing a frustrating issue with the ITVX app, where programs are skipping to the end unexpectedly. Complaints started surfacing last week, with users reporting being taken to the credits of shows without manually fast-forwarding.

On Sky’s forum page, a user named Dazzasky highlighted the problem, mentioning that ITV Player jumps to the end of episodes randomly, causing inconvenience for several days. Another user, Dawn, also shared a similar experience of programs jumping to the end on ITVX.

The glitch seems to affect users with Sky’s online devices like Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. While it’s uncertain if Sky Q users are impacted, most complaints come from those using broadband-powered gadgets rather than satellite dishes.

Sky employee Kev acknowledged the issues online, stating that the company is aware and actively working on a solution with ITV. Kev assured users that the problem has been escalated, and updates will be provided once more information is available.
