Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey recently shared her health scare experience when she fell ill at work and had to seek medical attention. In a video posted on her Instagram Stories, the 37-year-old star appeared exhausted, rubbing her face in the backseat of her car before addressing the camera.

Looking unwell with her hair tied up in a messy bun, Chelsee jokingly referred to a previous glamorous photo of herself and admitted to feeling under the weather, describing her condition as flu-like symptoms with a pounding headache.

She further updated her followers by posting a picture of herself in a waiting room, indicating that she had to take time off work due to her illness.

Chelsee’s absence from work follows a tumultuous period in her personal life. Earlier in the year, her former partner Edward Rainford, who is the father of her child, was sentenced to two years in prison for his involvement in a cannabis supply operation. Despite being present at his sentencing in June, Chelsee and Rainford are no longer together.

The couple welcomed their child, Cookie, in 2021. Chelsee had hinted at personal challenges during her time on Dancing On Ice, expressing her struggles off-camera during her exit interview.

In a candid post on social media, Chelsee opened up about the importance of vulnerability and seeking help when needed. She emphasized the value of honesty and reaching out for support during tough times.

While Chelsee had kept Rainford’s identity private initially, her Hollyoaks co-star Richard Blackwood eventually revealed his name on social media during Chelsee’s baby shower. Chelsee had previously praised Rainford as being incredibly supportive and had indicated that she saw a future with him.
