Andrew Tate is set to make his debut in Misfits Boxing later this year as he prepares to face off against the promotion’s heavyweight champion, Chase DeMoor. Tate, 38, brings experience from a successful kickboxing career but had to retire early due to multiple eye injuries affecting his final fights.
The influencer had hinted at a transition to boxing, with potential matchups against Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr discussed. However, it has been confirmed that he will instead challenge DeMoor, the 29-year-old reigning heavyweight champion who recently defended his title against Natan Marcon.
While Till may be disappointed at missing the opportunity to fight Tate, the former UFC title challenger is expected to feature on the event’s undercard, with his opponent yet to be announced. The event, titled Misfits Mania, is eagerly awaited.
Andrew Tate’s professional boxing debut against Chase DeMoor is scheduled for December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. Although official fight times are pending confirmation, the main card is projected to start around 6pm UK time. Tate is likely to enter the ring first for the main event at approximately 9pm UK time, with the event taking place in Dubai at 1am on Sunday.
No broadcasting details have been disclosed, but the fight will not be available on DAZN as in previous Misfits shows. The event will not be part of the X-Series and will be aired by a different broadcaster, possibly on pay-per-view.
