Published on

CCTV footage has been released of a woman who disappeared three weeks ago, prompting an urgent search to find her.

The woman, identified as Alexandra Harrod, aged 47, went missing from Seaton, Cumbria on August 30. She was last spotted in Workington and Whitehaven just days after her disappearance.

Authorities have shared CCTV footage of Alexandra at a Costa Coffee in Whitehaven on September 2, around 11:20 a.m. The video shows her at the shop on King Street, dressed in a dark padded coat and tracksuit trousers.

Described as white with short dark hair, Alexandra was last seen wearing dark-colored tracksuit pants, a dark-colored padded jacket, and carrying a dark-colored rucksack, according to Cumbria Police.

Police are urging any family members or friends who have not yet been in contact to reach out. Anyone with information on Alexandra’s whereabouts or who has seen her is asked to contact the police at 101.

Known to go by the name ‘Alex,’ Alexandra has connections to various places in the UK including Leeds, Wiltshire, Durham, Dorset, and Devon.

Meanwhile, authorities are actively searching for a woman who went missing following a house fire in Gardenstown, Aberdeenshire. The woman was inside the property when the fire broke out early Thursday morning, prompting a response from four fire engines in Seatown.

One man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, while a joint investigation by the police and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing at the scene.
