A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a father and his baby daughter, while the mother and son are currently in critical condition. The family, who had recently relocated from North Wales to Poland, was involved in a collision with a tree near Olsztyn in Poland. The father, Krzysztof, aged 30, and the infant, Natalka, did not survive the crash.
The family, believed to have resided in Connah’s Quay, Wales, had just returned to Poland when the devastating accident occurred. Reports from North Wales Live confirm the heartbreaking incident, with the Polish Integration Support Centre (PISC) in Wrexham verifying the news. The mother, Justyna, aged 29, and her three-year-old son are currently fighting for their lives.
An online fundraiser has been initiated to assist with the funeral expenses for the deceased baby girl. The fundraiser, organized by a Polish support group, has already raised over £1,000. The PISC had recently provided support to the family with necessary formalities, passports, and travel arrangements back to Poland. The fundraiser aims to cover funeral costs for Natalka and potential rehabilitation and psychological support for the surviving family members.
Anna Buckley, the Director of the Polish Integration Support Centre in the UK, recounted her involvement in assisting the family’s return to Poland. She mentioned providing passport assistance for the baby and coordinating their journey back to Poland. The tragic accident claimed the lives of the baby and father, leaving the mother and son hospitalized in critical condition.
Buckley emphasized the need for support to cover the funeral expenses for the infant and expressed deep sorrow over the devastating tragedy. The community is urged to offer prayers and any possible financial assistance to aid the grieving family during this difficult time.
