Gemma Atkinson, a prominent figure from “Strictly Come Dancing,” has provided an important update on her upcoming wedding with professional dancer Gorka Marquez. The couple, who got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2021, initiated their relationship in 2017 during the Strictly tour.

Their family expanded with the arrival of their daughter Mia in 2019, followed by son Thiago in 2023. Despite their four-year engagement, they haven’t felt pressured to rush into marriage.

In a recent interview, Gemma mentioned that she and Gorka have been contemplating their wedding options, including the idea of a small ceremony in Manchester. She expressed their considerations of holding the ceremony in Spain for Gorka’s family, a registry office or hotel in Manchester for an intimate affair, or having a larger celebration afterward.

However, Gemma indicated a desire to wait until their son Thiago is older, possibly in the next year or two, to involve him in the ceremony. She also disclosed undergoing tests for perimenopause, a natural phase preceding menopause.

Additionally, Gemma shared her launch of a new skincare range under Gem + Tonic, featuring products like face cream, hair mist, and moisturizer. She emphasized the range’s suitability for busy individuals seeking a balance between science and nature in their skincare routine.
