Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at this week’s CES tech show in Las Vegas. This compact device is an upgrade from the previous Freestyle model released in 2022 and boasts enhanced AI capabilities, brighter visuals, and an expanded range of entertainment choices.
The standout feature of the Freestyle+ is its simplified setup process for users. With Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, the projector automatically adjusts the image to match its surroundings, eliminating the need for manual configuration. This innovation allows users to easily stream content from platforms like Netflix and Disney+ without hassle.
Additionally, AI OptiScreen introduces several intelligent functions to enhance image quality under various lighting and surface conditions. Features like 3D Auto Keystone correct image distortion on uneven surfaces, while Real-time Focus ensures sharp picture quality even when the projector is moved. The inclusion of Screen Fit and Wall Calibration further streamlines the setup process and optimizes image clarity.
Designed for portability, the Freestyle+ is equipped with a built-in speaker, supports Wi-Fi connectivity, and offers access to popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Samsung’s Executive Vice President, Hun Lee, emphasized the device’s adaptability to users’ lifestyles, providing a seamless viewing experience wherever they go.
While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Freestyle+ is expected to hit stores in early 2026, catering to consumers seeking a versatile and user-friendly projection solution.
