Ringo Starr has revealed that he hasn’t had the chance to watch the new ninth Beatles anthology program on Disney+, set to premiere on November 26, as he has been occupied with creating new music. The 85-year-old Beatles legend, currently gearing up for another tour with his All Star Band, mentioned from rehearsals that he is looking forward to the new anthology but hasn’t seen Episode 9 yet, expressing excitement for the surprise it holds for him.

Additionally, Ringo confirmed speculations about completing a new album, his second consecutive country LP and third in his career, in collaboration with renowned producer T Bone Burnett. Following the success of his previous country album, “Look Up,” Ringo shared his positive experience working on the new record, expressing his love for country music and the ease of collaboration with T-Bone.

Furthermore, Ringo disclosed plans for another country album next year, mentioning his involvement in writing two songs for it and a cover of a Carl Perkins song. He expressed his fondness for Carl Perkins, highlighting the significance of recording Carl Perkins songs during his time with the Beatles.

Moreover, Ringo discussed his new art exhibition in Las Vegas, showcasing large paintings created through a unique spin art technique. The exhibition features giant paintings spun and painted by Ringo himself, inspired by a method popularized by artist Damien Hirst.

Ringo was speaking from the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee during rehearsals with his All Starr Band, comprising bandmates Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Hamish Stuart, Warren Ham, Buck Johnson, and Gregg Bissonette. The band is currently on tour, starting at the Chicago Theatre and heading across the United States, including multiple performances in Las Vegas.

The Beatles’ iconic ‘Anthology’ series from three decades ago has been remastered and restored for release in November, featuring unseen footage for fans worldwide. Disney+ has announced the return of ‘The Anthology’ in an enhanced format, including a nine-part series, a four-volume music collection, and a new book, offering a comprehensive look at the Beatles’ legendary journey and creative process.

The revamped Episode Nine of ‘The Anthology’ features exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of Paul, George, and Ringo collaborating between 1994 and 1995, reflecting on their shared experiences as The Beatles. This new release aims to engage both loyal fans and new generations with the enduring legacy of The Beatles.
