Nigel Farage has confirmed his intention to detain and repatriate migrant women to their home countries, specifically Afghanistan, if he attains a position of power through elections. The leader of Reform UK detailed his stringent deportation strategy for individuals arriving in Britain via small boats, labeling it as part of his extensive mass deportation blueprint. Farage mentioned a possible differentiation in handling children due to the necessity of providing care but dismissed their significance as only a few minors arrive on small boats.
In a recent announcement at Reform’s annual conference in Birmingham, Farage reiterated his stance on detaining and deporting all individuals, both men and women, who cross the English Channel. When questioned about the destination for repatriation, he asserted that Afghanistan could be a potential option if deemed necessary, citing the urgent crisis faced by the country.
In a separate development, Farage had disclosed plans to expel approximately 600,000 asylum seekers within a five-year timeframe, with an estimated cost of £10 billion, as outlined by his party. Despite previous contradictory statements, Farage emphasized his unwavering commitment to enforcing strict immigration policies, stating that illegal immigrants would face detention and expulsion without any possibility of remaining in the UK.
During a speech at London Oxford Airport, Farage reiterated his uncompromising stance on illegal immigration, emphasizing that those entering the UK unlawfully would be subject to immediate deportation with no chance of staying in the country.
