In a state of panic, Penny hurried to obtain an emergency passport for her son but was surprised to learn that children’s passports must be applied for at least one week in advance. Consequently, Penny had to leave her husband, James, and their five-year-old son at home while she traveled to Croatia with their youngest child.
Reflecting on the situation, Penny expressed, “I felt overwhelmed – I was completely taken aback.
