Morrisons is offering customers the chance to receive more than 27 tonnes of carrots to “feed to Rudolph” and his companions.
Starting from December 20 until Christmas Eve, shoppers can claim a complimentary carrot from the “Naturally Wonky” selection, while supplies last. These carrots may have unique shapes or sizes.
Chris Smith, Morrisons’ Root Veg Senior Trader, expressed, “Christmas embodies spreading joy and happiness, hence we are thrilled to provide our young patrons with a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and his friends on Christmas Eve.”
He added, “Our Naturally Wonky range not only supports British farmers and minimizes waste but also presents customers with a value-for-money option that remains delicious.”
This initiative coincides with several leading UK supermarkets reducing the prices of Christmas vegetables to just 5p, encompassing potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts. Detailed reductions on Christmas vegetables can be found below.
