Katie Price has criticized her son Junior Andre’s attire at the National Television Awards red carpet and urged her kids to dismiss the stylist after expressing dissatisfaction with Princess’ outfit. During the recent episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, the former model shared her disapproval of her children’s NTA ensembles, advising them to let go of their stylist. She particularly felt sympathetic towards Junior, commenting on Princess’ dress as well, calling it “like fancy dress.”
“Not pleased with the styling, I told them to fire the stylist. I pitied Junior. Princess, what was he wearing? It seemed like a costume,” she expressed.
Katie also mentioned her discontent with Princess’ appearance, considering it too mature for the 18-year-old. She even drew a comparison between her daughter and former Love Island contestant Maura Higgins, stating, “Princess, your dress didn’t sit well with me either. It was too mature for you. Look at Maura Higgins, she rocked it!”
Continuing her critique, Katie remarked, “I’m clueless about who’s behind these styling choices. They may be good for a photoshoot but not for the red carpet. The outfits were simply off.”
This marked the first time Princess and Junior attended an event without their famous parents, heading to the NTAs separately. They made an appearance following Princess’ solo reality show, The Princess Diaries, which prominently featured her father, Peter Andre, and included appearances by Junior but not Katie.
On the red carpet, Junior and Princess disclosed that they advised their parents against attending the NTAs, emphasizing the importance of their independent spotlight. However, speculation arose regarding Katie’s absence from the NTAs and Princess’ show, suggesting underlying reasons. Katie and Princess have previously encountered publicized conflicts, notably when Katie missed her daughter’s 18th birthday gathering. In a prior podcast discussion, Katie insinuated exclusion from Princess’ documentary, attributing it to Peter Andre’s influence.
Accusing Peter Andre of orchestrating her exclusion, Katie pondered on future scenarios involving their children’s milestones. Contradicting her mother’s claims, Princess clarified that she would be the one refraining from attending if Peter were present. Katie later corrected her statements, emphasizing her regular interactions with Princess despite not showcasing them online. “I frequently spend time with Princess. I don’t need to document every moment.”
