One of the standout jockeys of the Flat racing season has been hospitalized following a neck injury sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Clifford Lee, a 29-year-old jockey associated with trainer Karl Burke, has had a remarkable season, achieving 94 wins, including his first Group 1 victory aboard Venetian Sun in the Prix Morny. Prior to his riding suspension, Lee had secured four consecutive wins and was on track to reach 100 wins for the first time upon his return.
