The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival organizers have announced the postponement of the upcoming event scheduled for this weekend in Mississauga, Ontario.
Although the reason for the postponement at Erindale Park is not immediately evident, the festival explained on its website that the decision was made after careful deliberation.
In a statement, the festival mentioned that rescheduling the event will enable organizers to present a top-notch show.
Known for its annual showcases, the festival has featured renowned comedians like Matt Rife, Nikki Glaser, Kevin Hart, and John Mulaney in various locations across Canada and the United States.
John Mulaney, who was set to headline the Mississauga event, expressed disappointment over the decision in a social media post on Tuesday evening but assured fans of his intention to perform in the region soon.
The festival is currently looking into alternative dates for the show and plans to reach out directly to those who have already bought tickets.
