Ed Sheeran has allegedly purchased a £1 million farm near his Suffolk home in preparation for his upcoming American tour leg. Following the success of his Mathematics tour, which reportedly earned him £650 million, Sheeran is said to be prudent with his finances and has opted to establish another residence close to his current location.
According to a source, Sheeran acquired a Grade II-listed farmhouse along with its surrounding land, intending to transform it into a personal retreat dubbed “Sheeranville.” The property boasts numerous barns, with one already converted into a recording studio. Additionally, Sheeran has repurposed a former piggery into a lavish man cave featuring amenities like a bar, gym, pool table, and bowling alley.
Reportedly, Sheeran plans to use the farm for entertainment purposes and as a creative space for his music endeavors. He is also reviving the fields on the property to cultivate his own vegetables. In an interview with the 2 Johnnies podcast, Sheeran revealed that he, along with his wife Cherry Seaborn and their two daughters, Lyra and Jupiter, will be relocating to the US soon due to work commitments.
Having resided in a luxurious estate in Suffolk, complete with various amenities, Sheeran is now preparing to embark on his American journey. His upcoming album, “Play,” set to be released on September 12, marks a departure from his previous work, as he collaborates with artists and producers worldwide to explore diverse musical influences, including Indian and Persian cultures and Irish folk traditions.
Renowned for his exceptional songwriting skills, Sheeran has penned hits for various artists and continues to create his own music. As he ventures into new musical territories with “Play,” fans eagerly anticipate the evolution of his sound and style.
