A commercial passenger jet was found to be in close proximity to Air Force One en route to the UK, recent reports have confirmed.

The large Boeing 747 was flying over New York when air traffic controllers noticed a Spirit Airlines plane following a similar flight path. To ensure safety, the controllers promptly instructed the pilots of the passenger plane to alter their course.

Although the two planes always maintained a safe distance and were not at risk of breaching safety protocols, Spirit Flight 1300, en route from Fort Lauderdale to Boston, did adjust its route after the controller urged them to “stay focused” and “put away the iPad.”

In the recorded audio, the controller can be heard directing the Spirit Airlines pilot to turn right by 20 degrees immediately, alerting them about the nearby presence of a 747 aircraft. The controller provided details about the aircraft’s position and appearance to ensure awareness and safety.

President Trump and First Lady Melania safely arrived in the UK last night for a state visit without any further issues. They are scheduled to attend a state banquet where they will be greeted by the King and Queen.
