Although the cause of death remains undisclosed, authorities have confirmed that there is no suspicion of foul play and have scheduled a funeral for October 10.

Campbell, aged 24, who followed his father’s footsteps into professional boxing and shared a close bond with him, acknowledged the overwhelming support and tributes honoring ‘The Hitman,’ which have provided solace during this difficult time. Reflecting on their loss, Campbell mentioned, “We are absolutely heartbroken – it was so unexpected… We had so many plans coming up, so it has knocked us for six, but obviously we are trying to be there for each other.” The immense support from all corners has been a source of strength, yet the profound sadness prevails.

A funeral procession for Hatton is set to commence from Gee Cross, his residence, passing through Hyde and concluding at the Etihad Stadium, the home turf of Manchester City, a club close to Hatton’s heart. Campbell, drawing parallels between himself and his late father, shared, “He used to call me his little Mini-Me. We were identical in so many ways, and I think it’s shown through how close we were and the banter we had with each other.” The loss of his father, known as Ricky Hatton to the world but simply ‘dad’ to Campbell, remains incomprehensible for the family.

In a heartfelt social media tribute following Hatton’s passing, Campbell posted pictures of them together, expressing, “Everybody has always said I was your double and never a truer word said.
