Bernie Ecclestone’s Age Gap Parenting Secret

Published on

Bernie Ecclestone’s spouse has disclosed how they manage raising their young son, despite their significant 46-year age gap. The ex-Formula One chief, now aged 95, and his 49-year-old partner reside in the serene Swiss town of Gstaad.

The couple welcomed their child in 2020 when Ecclestone was 89, a new chapter following their marriage eight years earlier. Their family divides time between the picturesque Swiss Alps and Fabiana’s native Brazil.

Flosi and Ecclestone have nurtured their son to be trilingual, with Ace proficient in Portuguese from his mother, English from his father, and Swiss German from attending the International Preschool in Gstaad.

Discussing their parenting methods in a recent conversation with Bild, Fabiana shared how they handle the dynamics of having a 95-year-old father and a 49-year-old mother. She emphasized their teamwork in raising Ace and mentioned their approach to screen time rules and introducing technology at a later age.

Ecclestone, a prominent figure in motorsport, commended his son’s adaptability and intelligence, foreseeing a bright future for him. Fabiana highlighted Ace’s early ski skills and diverse food preferences, noting his love for sushi.

Reflecting on his bond with Ace, Ecclestone expressed his desire for a mutual understanding despite the age gap. He emphasized treating his son with respect and recognizing his intellect.

The age contrast between Ecclestone’s eldest child, Deborah, aged 70, and Ace, who recently started school, is substantial. Ecclestone opted for a low-key celebration with his partner and son, preferring a trip to his Brazilian ranch over a grand party.

Additionally, Ecclestone recently sold a yacht named after his daughters, Petra and Tamara, due to infrequent use, with reports suggesting it was utilized only eight days per year. Another yacht, currently in Ibiza, is also up for sale.

Sky has reduced the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the upcoming season, offering substantial savings and an increased number of live matches, including Premier League games. Sky’s coverage is set to include at least 215 live Premier League matches next season, a significant rise from previous seasons.
