Apple is currently hosting its annual WWDC Developers Conference at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, unveiling a multitude of updates for its products. Among them, the iPhone is set to receive new features later this year, promising enhanced customization options, improved parental controls, quicker app launches, and a more intuitive Siri assistant. This upcoming release is expected to be a hit, especially for users with devices compatible with Apple Intelligence.

Initially introduced in 2024, Apple Intelligence faced challenges with several promised features not coming to fruition. However, the tech giant from the US has been diligently working to enhance this smart service, gearing up to introduce the improvements to the general public.

With an anticipated launch in September, Apple Intelligence is poised to simplify life by assisting in calendar organization and offering quick suggestions based on users’ message conversations. For instance, receiving a message requesting “photos of mum” from a sibling will prompt Apple Intelligence to display relevant images from the user’s photo library for swift retrieval.

Notable updates also extend to the Safari browser, introducing a feature called Notify Me, enabling users to monitor web pages for changes like product restocks or price adjustments. Additionally, Safari now features tabs that automatically categorize themselves by topic.

A significant enhancement is seen in photo capabilities, with the new Apple Intelligence excelling in image retouching and object removal. Users can now extend backgrounds without specialized skills and utilize a feature called Spatial Reframing to adjust photo composition post-capture.

Craig Federighi, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, emphasized the company’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology to create user-friendly products. He highlighted the importance of integrating truly helpful AI centered on user needs, product integration, personal context, and privacy, reflecting Apple’s vision for Apple Intelligence.

The updated Apple Intelligence is slated to debut in iOS 27 this fall, available on select models including the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 range, iPhone 17 models, and the iPhone Air.
