“Apple Launches Creative Studio: Premium Software at Affordable Rates”

Published on

Apple has introduced a major software update designed to enhance creativity for a wider audience. The renowned US tech company is launching a new platform named Creative Studio, providing MacBook and iPad users access to premium software at a more affordable monthly rate.

This service includes full access to professional applications like Final Cut Pro for video editing, Logic Pro for music creation, and Pixelmator Pro as an alternative to Adobe’s Photoshop.

Upon its release later this month, Apple customers will pay either £12.99 per month or £129 per year, offering great value considering the software included in the package. For instance, Final Cut Pro alone costs £300 on the App Store, and Logic Pro is priced at £200.

By offering these tools through a subscription model, Apple aims to democratize access to creative software for all users.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, stated, “Apple Creator Studio is a valuable resource that empowers creators of all kinds to pursue their craft by providing easy access to powerful tools for video editing, music creation, creative imaging, and visual productivity, enhanced with advanced intelligent features to streamline workflows.”

Additionally, Creative Studio subscribers will receive extras such as MainStage, which transforms Mac into various musical instruments, and Motion, a robust graphics tool for creating cinematic effects in 2D and 3D.

Moreover, users will benefit from intelligent features and premium content in Keynote, Pages, Numbers apps, and Freeform for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, set to receive enhancements later in the year.

While Keynote, Pages, and Numbers will remain free, they will be upgraded for Creative Studio subscribers to enhance user experience.

Cue added, “There has never been a more flexible and accessible way to access a powerful collection of creative apps for professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, students, and educators to explore their creative interests and produce their best work.”

Apple Creator Studio will be accessible on the App Store starting on Wednesday, January 28, with a one-month free trial available to all users. Customers purchasing a MacBook or iPad will also receive a three-month trial period.

Moreover, Apple has announced special pricing for university students, offering the software bundle at £2.99 per month or £29.99 per year to support education savings.
