This updated device is not only more cost-effective but also delivers crisp 4K visuals and operates on the Vega operating system, a departure from Amazon’s Fire OS. The key feature of this new software is its restricted compatibility with approved apps, indicating that unauthorized applications will no longer function, potentially leading to a halt in illegal streaming on these devices.
