“Alan Carr Apologizes to Soap Star with Flowers”

Published on

A well-known former soap opera actress received flowers and an apology from the comedian Alan Carr this week following an incident that occurred at a gathering hosted by Amanda Holden last month. Tamzin Outhwaite, who is 54 years old and is recognized for her role as Mel Owen in EastEnders before appearing in other TV shows like New Tricks, was attending a high-profile garden event organized by Amanda, also 54, in Surrey over the recent bank holiday weekend.

Footage shared by Amanda on Instagram showed Tamzin being playfully pushed into the swimming pool by Alan, aged 49. Amanda mentioned in her post how Tamzin was assisted out of the pool by a friend after the cheeky incident.

Following the pool push, Tamzin hinted that Alan had expressed regret for his actions. She took to Instagram to reveal that Alan had visited her at the Young Vic theatre, where she is currently starring in the play “Entertaining Mr Sloane” alongside Jordan Stephens from Rizzle Kicks.

In a video clip, Alan was seen kneeling beside Tamzin, presenting her with a gift bag containing a lovely bouquet of flowers while offering his sincere apology for the pool incident. The actress graciously accepted his apology, indicating that she had forgiven him for the playful mishap.

Alan publicly expressed his remorse in the video, admitting his wrongdoing and seeking forgiveness from Tamzin. The interaction ended with both of them sharing a laugh, signifying that all was well between them.

Tamzin later shared the heartwarming moment on social media, mentioning how Alan had redeemed himself after the pool incident and expressing her gratitude for the beautiful flowers.

Alan was spotted in the audience of the recent production of “Entertaining Mr Sloane” at the Young Vic, along with fellow actor David Ames and comedians Lee Peart and Brenda Gilhooly. They all posed for a group photo with Tamzin and Jordan during the evening.

David Ames, who previously appeared on Holby City, praised the play, describing it as a brilliant performance that was beautifully directed and still resonates with audiences today. He extended his congratulations to Tamzin, Jordan, director Nadia Fall, and everyone involved in the production.

Alan shared David’s positive remarks about the play on his Instagram account, echoing the sentiment of it being a wonderful production.
