Renowned actor Stephen Graham, known for his diverse roles from a racist thug in This Is England to a troubled father in Netflix’s Adolescence, has consistently portrayed complex characters by tapping into a wide range of emotions.
Throughout his nearly two decades in the industry, Graham has had unwavering support from his wife, actress, and producer Hannah Walters. Described as his “rock” for over 17 years, Hannah has not only been a source of strength but has also actively contributed to Stephen’s projects. In the series Adolescence, she took on the role of a teacher, provided input during script consultations, and served as one of the producers. Stephen emphasized the invaluable perspective that Hannah brings, acknowledging her remarkable contributions.
Adolescence star Owen Cooper recently made history as the first male recipient of an acting Emmy at the ceremony in Los Angeles. The Netflix British drama also secured four other awards, with Stephen Graham winning Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series.
Stephen and Hannah’s professional journey began at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, where they first crossed paths. The couple now resides in Ibstock, Leicestershire, with their two children, Alfie and Grace, who joined them for a celebrity edition of Gogglebox.
