Jade Thirwall, a 32-year-old singer who gained fame as a member of the successful girl group Little Mix on X Factor in 2011, has reassured fans of an upcoming reunion of the iconic band. Alongside Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, she formed one of the UK’s most renowned girl bands.
Despite the band’s breakup in 2022 following Jesy’s departure, Jade has established a flourishing solo career, achieving two Top 10 singles and winning the Best Pop Act at the 2025 Brit Awards. Regardless of her individual achievements, Jade remains committed to a future Little Mix reunion.
In an interview with Capital Buzz, the singer expressed her determination, stating, “There will be a Little Mix reunion if it’s the last thing I do, no matter the timeframe.” Recently, Jade released her debut album “That’s Showbiz Baby,” featuring well-received tracks like “Angel Of My Dreams,” “Midnight Cowboy,” “Fantasy,” and “Plastic Box.” The album’s launch precedes her inaugural solo tour, commencing in October with performances scheduled across the UK and Ireland.
To celebrate her album release, Jade surprised fans with a live gig at the Angel of the North in Newcastle. Clad in a Newcastle United football jersey, she performed five tracks from a converted metal food truck, attracting over 1,000 attendees despite the short notice. The event caused traffic chaos as fans parked along a busy dual carriageway, necessitating police intervention.
Jade’s hit single “Angel Of My Dreams” has played a pivotal role in propelling her solo career, accumulating over 215 million streams across her music catalog. The singer recently opened up about her struggles with eating disorders, revealing her ongoing battle to avoid using Ozempic, a medication not intended for weight loss but for diabetes management.
