A popular plus-size fashion label available at Next and Marks and Spencer faces potential administration. Live Unlimited has initiated the process by filing a notice for administrators, granting a ten-day legal protection against creditor actions.

Irwin Mitchell is expected to oversee the administration, as reported by The Sun. The Mirror reached out to both Live Unlimited and Irwin Mitchell for comments on the situation.

Established in 2012 by Rachel Heather and Tracy Egan, Live Unlimited started as a small collection before a full launch in 2017. Recently, the brand collaborated with Nordstrom to offer its clothing range, catering to sizes 12 to 28, in the US.

In a separate development, Cefinn, the fashion company founded by Samantha Cameron, wife of former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, is winding down. Lady Cameron confirmed that the upcoming winter collection will mark the brand’s final release. While Cefinn stores in London will continue trading for the next few months, the decision to cease operations was described as challenging due to mounting costs hindering the path to profitability.

Lady Cameron expressed her gratitude to supporters on Instagram, announcing the closure of Cefinn after eight years of highs and lows. The brand, targeting practical and modern women, will gradually wind down its operations.

Despite recent robust trading figures, Lady Cameron cited challenges in the fashion wholesale sector, cost pressures, and international trade limitations as reasons for the closure. She hopes the legacy of Cefinn will endure in the wardrobes of its loyal followers for years to come.
