During a speech at the Pentagon Memorial near Washington, the US president’s demeanor caught the attention of social media users, who observed an unusual drooping of his mouth to the right side of his face. Speculations regarding the 79-year-old’s physical and mental health were raised by some, while others dismissed the rumors as insensitive, attributing Trump’s appearance to being shaken after the recent death of his associate, Charlie Kirk.
Various individuals on social media platforms shared their opinions, with one user suggesting that Trump’s facial expression indicated signs of a minor stroke, while another claimed that he appeared to be falling asleep during the 9/11 ceremony, with his face showing signs of drooping.
In contrast, another user believed that Trump appeared fatigued and troubled due to recent events. During the service, Trump honored Charlie Kirk and expressed his admiration for the late activist. He also announced plans to posthumously award Kirk the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth likened Kirk’s legacy to those lost in the 9/11 attacks.
The White House has not yet addressed the latest concerns surrounding Trump’s health. Earlier in September, rumors about Trump’s health circulated after an audio interview with Scott Jennings, a former special assistant to President George W. Bush, where Trump sounded congested and fatigued. The White House swiftly denied any health issues affecting the president.
