A man who disappeared six years ago has been discovered deceased in a national park. Jordan Moray’s remains were located on the Brecon Beacon last week, near the Llwyn On Reservoir, as confirmed by his family. Moray went missing in 2019 after being last seen at his residence in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Throughout the past six years, Moray’s family made several pleas for information on his whereabouts. His brother, Josh, revealed that a hiker found human remains in the Brecon Beacons, Bannau Brycheniog, on August 29, which were later identified as Moray’s.
In a tribute to his late brother, Josh described Jordan, who would have turned 38, as his “closest companion,” sharing many experiences together. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss and mentioned that now his parents can lay him to rest, concluding with a heartfelt message to Jordan.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police stated that human remains were discovered near Llwyn On Reservoir on August 29, 2025, and later confirmed to be those of Jordan Moray, who went missing in July 2019. The coroner has ruled out any suspicion regarding his death, and Moray’s family has requested privacy during this challenging period.
