A senior citizen, aged 65, extensively researched and planned a heinous act against his partner, drawing inspiration from a notorious murder case almost a century old, as per investigators. The individual allegedly engaged in deception by creating fake online personas to entrap young women, assuming identities of attractive athletes.

The man is suspected of meticulously orchestrating the murder of his partner, followed by dismembering her body and discarding body parts in a suitcase left at a bus station, where CCTV footage captured his presence. Notably, he has a dark past involving a prior conviction related to the death of his mother, which he contested, but admitted to concealing her body under the guise of suicide to benefit financially from her life insurance policy.

After targeting his partner through deceitful means, the perpetrator drew inspiration from a gruesome historical murder in São Paulo from 1928, where a similar act was committed. Financial motives seem to drive his actions, evident by attempts to access his partner’s funds. Misleading her family about her well-being using her phone, he displayed a pattern of calculated deceit.

Termed possessing a “psychopathic profile” by the Civil Police of Rio Grande do Sul, the accused is described as highly educated and intelligent, exhibiting methodical and cunning behavior in his crimes. Employing false leads and disguises to mislead investigators, he utilized artificial intelligence to facilitate his deceitful schemes, although it remains undisclosed if the victim was directly linked to his online impersonations.

The victim’s dismembered body parts were located at various sites, including a suitcase at a bus station, a leg at a beach, and other limbs in the city’s East Zone. The culprit attempted to conceal his identity during the disposal of the body by wearing a cap, mask, glasses, and gloves.
