Roman Kemp recently revealed the concerns of his parents, Martin and Shirlie Kemp, regarding his and his sister Harley Moon Kemp’s participation in Celebrity Race Across the World. The siblings, known for their roles in The One Show and beyond, are among the four pairs competing in the latest BBC adventure series.

The Kemp duo will be racing against other participants including Anita Rani and her father, Dylan Llewellyn and his mother, and the Strictly Come Dancing duo Molly Rainford and Tyler West, all vying to reach the finish line first.

Prior to the show’s return, Roman Kemp shared his experience of spending an extended period of time with his sister, admitting they hadn’t spent quality time together for quite some time. On their podcast, Roman hinted at potential arguments during the competition, leaving fans curious about their dynamic.

Describing their relationship, Roman highlighted the differences between him and Harley, emphasizing their contrasting personalities and interests. Despite their unique traits, both siblings have made names for themselves in the entertainment industry, with Roman excelling as a television presenter and Harley pursuing a career in music.

The upcoming season of the BBC series will see Roman, Harley, and the other contestants embarking on a journey through Central America, starting in Mexico and concluding in Colombia, spanning nearly 6000km. The route promises diverse landscapes and challenges, showcasing the beauty of the Caribbean and Pacific coast of Central America.

Participants aim to follow the success of previous winners, like Scott Mills and his husband Sam Vaughan, as they race towards the finish line. The official premiere date for the new series is yet to be announced.
