Swathes of the UK are set to enjoy hot weather in the upcoming days as new weather charts project temperatures could reach up to 22C. Forecasts from Netweather.tv indicate a return of warm weather across the nation by the end of September. Regions including Norwich, Peterborough, Cambridge, and Norfolk are expected to experience the highest temperatures at 22C.
Other areas like London, Luton, Oxford, Reading, Northampton, Gloucester, and Coventry will see highs of 21C. Bristol, Bath, and Stratford upon Avon are likely to have temperatures ranging from 19C to 20C. Scotland is also expected to witness mild weather, with cities such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth, and Dundee potentially reaching 14C to 15C.
This shift in weather comes shortly after the Met Office issued a yellow warning for rain and wind in parts of Wales and England over the weekend. The Chief Meteorologist, Matthew Lehnert, mentioned expected rainfall amounts and uncertainties in the warning.
Looking ahead, the Met Office predicts settled conditions for most of the UK in the following week. While Scotland’s far north may experience more cloud and rain on Monday, and showers could persist in south-east Kent until mid-week. The long-range forecast from September 24 to October 3 suggests high pressure dominating, leading to settled conditions with possible showers in East Anglia and southeast England.
As we approach early October, weather patterns may become more changeable, with wettest conditions likely in the west and northwest. Cities like Norwich, Peterborough, Cambridge, Norfolk, London, Luton, Oxford, Reading, and others are expected to experience these weather conditions.
