EE has announced the launch of new SIM plans aimed at addressing a common problem faced by many customers – running out of data while on the go. The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE will feature a complimentary upgrade named “Data Parachute,” providing users with an additional 1GB of data when they unexpectedly deplete their allowance.
According to EE, the “Data Parachute” initiative is designed to help customers stay connected for essential tasks like communicating with friends and family or navigating using Maps, offering a buffer until they can top up their data. These new plans, starting from £10 per month, come with various benefits such as data rollover, which carries forward any unused data to the next month, and free data boosts that add extra data to users’ allowances.
In addition to these perks, EE pay-as-you-go customers will have access to the 5G network, delivering enhanced performance and faster speeds. The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited data
While EE’s Data Parachute feature sets it apart, other providers like SMARTY and Giffgaff offer competitive deals in the market. SMARTY’s offerings include 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, while Giffgaff provides options like 75GB for £10 monthly and 60GB for £13.
Consumers are advised to compare deals from various providers and select a plan that aligns with their data usage needs to avoid unnecessary costs.
