Racing star Lando Norris has shared details about his romantic involvement with model and actress Margarida Corceiro, shedding light on their personal life and describing his partner’s qualities.
Lando, aged 25, who competes for McLaren in Formula One, has been romantically linked to Margarida, 22, also known as Magui, for over a year. The couple has been seen together on various occasions, notably during the preparations for the Italian Grand Prix in Monza earlier this month.
Reportedly, the duo officially acknowledged their relationship during the Hungarian Grand Prix last month, although they first met a few years ago, according to Lando. He mentioned that while they knew each other for some time, they only recently became a couple.
In an interview with British Vogue, Lando shared that everything about Margarida is special to him. He described her as someone with whom he can be completely himself, emphasizing her down-to-earth nature and their shared enjoyment of simple activities like renting a boat or spending leisure time at home.
Adding depth to their relationship, the couple spent three evenings watching the TV series “The Summer I Turned Pretty” before the interview, a choice attributed to Margarida.
Lando mentioned that Margarida is not a fan of golf, a sport he enjoys and has participated in tournaments like the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am. He humorously expressed his efforts to introduce her to golf, highlighting his unexpected passion for the game in a column for The Telegraph.
During the Vogue interview, Lando also discussed the challenges of dealing with public scrutiny on social media regarding their relationship. He emphasized the importance of protecting loved ones from negative attention and praised Margarida for her maturity in handling such situations.
Margarida has been a supportive presence for Lando during his recent racing events, notably accompanying him to the Hungarian Grand Prix and the Italian Grand Prix at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Despite a commendable performance, Lando finished second at the Italian Grand Prix, with rival Max Verstappen claiming victory for Red Bull Racing.
