Max Verstappen has seen a significant increase in his estimated wealth over the past year, with his total net worth now approaching £230 million, up by nearly £44 million. The Red Bull Racing driver has made impressive strides in the Quote 500 list, which ranks the wealthiest individuals in the Netherlands, moving from 322nd place to 264th.
Despite recently turning 28, Verstappen remains the youngest individual on the list, a title he has held since his debut in 2022. Initially entering the list at 500th place with a net worth slightly above £105 million, he has rapidly ascended the ranks, reaching 428th place the following year and climbing 106 spots in the latest ranking.
For this year’s list, the entry threshold is approximately £123 million, with notable figures like Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk failing to meet the cut. Verstappen has also been recognized by Forbes as the 25th highest-paid athlete globally, earning close to £59 million, primarily from his salary, winnings, and endorsements totaling £4.5 million.
Comparatively, Lewis Hamilton ranks higher at 22nd on the list, earning just over £60 million, with endorsements contributing significantly to his income. Earlier reports from the Daily Mail suggested Aston Martin offered Verstappen a remarkable £750 million deal, but the driver has since reaffirmed his commitment to Red Bull, having signed a contract extension until 2028, rumored to be worth around £40 million per season.
Sky has introduced price reductions on its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the upcoming 2025/26 season, offering savings of £192 to members and expanding the coverage to include over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL, and more. The broadcaster will showcase at least 215 live Premier League games next season, a substantial increase from the previous coverage.
