“Trump’s Foreign Affairs Controversies Spark War Crimes Speculation”

Published on

Donald Trump has been heavily involved in foreign elections, granting pardons to drug traffickers, and overturning Joe Biden’s policies. There are speculations that the Secretary of War might be renamed as the Secretary of War Crimes. Additionally, ICE has been accused of arresting the partners of US citizens during their final Green Card appointments to meet their arrest quota.

In Trump’s realm, he recently claimed on Truth Social that he has annulled all Executive Orders not directly signed by Joe Biden, citing alleged illegal operations of the Autopen. However, it is noted that presidents cannot annul executive orders via social media and require a formal process. Trump’s accusations regarding the Autopen use by Biden’s administration have been debunked as baseless.

Pete Hegseth, labeled as the “secretary of war,” is denying allegations of issuing an unlawful order to kill survivors of a boat sunk by the US military near Venezuela. The US military has conducted multiple strikes on boats in the Caribbean, resulting in casualties. The legality of these strikes has raised concerns among international allies due to potential violations of international law.

Contrary to reports, the Pentagon refutes the claims made by The Washington Post regarding Hegseth’s orders, labeling them as false. Trump’s involvement in foreign affairs has sparked speculation about possible military actions against Venezuela, with implications that could escalate tensions in the region.

Moreover, Trump’s interference in the Honduran elections and support for a particular candidate have raised eyebrows. He also announced a pardon for a former Honduran president serving a lengthy prison sentence for drug-related charges. In another controversial move, ICE has been arresting the spouses of US citizens during their Green Card interviews, a decision that has faced criticism for its impact on families.

Lastly, JPMorgan Chase’s decision not to contribute to Trump’s fundraising efforts has been linked to concerns about potential legal implications and the appearance of seeking favors. The company’s cautious approach reflects the complexities of engaging with political activities amid changing administrations.
