“Trump Fatigued by UK Beauty, Mocks Sadiq Khan”

Published on

During his state visit to the UK, Donald Trump expressed his fatigue from being shown numerous beautiful sights, as reported by the Mirror. The US President humorously mentioned that he assured the King he would not force him to tour Washington’s monuments on his future visit to the US. These comments surfaced as Trump shifted his focus to criticizing London Mayor Sadiq Khan, alleging that the city had drastically changed under his leadership and was moving towards “shariah law.”

Trump reportedly made these remarks at a private event for tech industry leaders at Chequers during the state visit, joking about being overwhelmed by the beauty he had witnessed at various locations like Windsor Castle and Chequers. He humorously mentioned telling the King that he would spare him from a tour of the Lincoln Memorial during a state dinner in the US.

Following the state visit, UK officials and No10 were relieved that the visit concluded smoothly, with Trump displaying good behavior. Apart from the ceremonial welcome and tour at Windsor Castle, a special exhibit showcasing historical American items was presented to the President. At Chequers, he was given a tour of the Churchill archive.

In a separate event at the United Nations in New York, Trump launched a scathing attack on Europe, claiming that countries were deteriorating due to immigration. He urged Keir Starmer to increase oil production in the North Sea and dismissed global warming as a hoax. Trump also reignited his feud with Sadiq Khan, baselessly accusing him of attempting to enforce Sharia law in London.

Responding to Trump’s comments, Sadiq’s spokesperson declined to engage, emphasizing London’s status as a welcoming city and refuting Trump’s claims. Meanwhile, the Mirror approached the White House for a statement on the matter.
