McDonald’s in the UK is introducing eight international menu items for the first time starting today. The offerings include burgers from Canada and Australia, McNuggets and beverages from Japan, sides from Poland and the United Arab Emirates, and desserts from Malaysia and Indonesia.
The new menu, available from October 22, will run for six weeks. Among the highlights is the Maple BBQ and Bacon Double Quarter Pounder from Canada, featuring two quarter pounder beef patties with maple BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, crispy onions, and pickles.
Another addition is the Pineapple McSpicy from Australia, a spicy chicken burger with pineapple, bacon, cheese, and lettuce. From Japan, the menu includes Garlic and Black Pepper McNuggets, made with 100% chicken breast coated in crispy garlic and black pepper seasoning, served with garlic and soy mayo dip.
Poland’s offering is the Sour Cream and Black Pepper McShaker Fries, regular fries with a unique twist of sour cream and black pepper seasoning that you shake in a bag for even flavor distribution. The United Arab Emirates presents Mac and Cheese Triangles, macaroni pasta in cheddar cheese sauce with a crispy breadcrumb coating and tomato ketchup dip.
For dessert, there is the Choco Caramel Pie from Indonesia, a chocolatey treat with molten caramel and chocolate ganache. Additionally, Malaysia contributes two new McFlurries, Chocolate or Caramel Pretzel, featuring creamy soft serve swirled with pretzel pieces and either chocolate or caramel sauce.
To complement these offerings, the Sakura x Sprite drink from Japan is available, described as a floral and fizzy refreshment.
