“Video Emerges of Alleged Killer in Familiar Outfit”

Published on

A video has surfaced showing Tyler Robinson, the alleged killer of Charlie Kirk, wearing a strikingly similar outfit to the one he wore after the crime. The footage dates back to 2022 in Utah, capturing Robinson in sunglasses and a hat resembling those he wore during the incident.

The video depicts Robinson, then 19, conversing calmly with police officers following a collision involving his silver Audi and a Ford sedan.

In the footage obtained from Scrippsnews, Robinson explains the accident, stating, “As I was coming through, he turned in, and I T-boned into the side of him.” Fortunately, no injuries were reported for Robinson, his brother, or the other driver involved in the minor crash. The luxury vehicle’s front end appears damaged, leaking oil as a result of the collision.

This revelation follows Robinson’s recent court appearance via video link, where he remained silent while wearing a suicide prevention vest. The judge outlined the charges against him, and Robinson is currently detained without bail.

During the hearing, Robinson did not have legal representation but was assured by the judge that a court-appointed lawyer would be assigned to him due to his financial status. Prosecutors have indicated their intent to pursue the death penalty in Robinson’s case.

Charlie Kirk, aged 31, tragically lost his life on September 10 at Utah Valley University. Prosecutors allege that Robinson, perched on a nearby campus building’s roof, fatally shot Kirk in the neck while he was addressing a group of students.

Kirk, known as the founder of Turning Point USA, a political organization focusing on involving young conservative evangelical Christians in politics, had close ties to former President Donald Trump.

Robinson surrendered to the authorities at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with his parents following his identification in a surveillance photo released by the authorities.

Utah County attorney Jeff Gray discussed a series of messages between Robinson and his romantic partner, who was also his roommate, during a recent briefing.
